Found this 1912 penny on the floor yesterday. It caught my eye real quick. I'm unsure if it's worth holding on to given the condition . Anyone care to share some wisdom my way Please

I see no reason not to keep it.
Coins were meant to be spent.

It is pretty worn, but still worth at least $.50

and I would keep it in my pocket and wear it down a little more . Some day could make a genuine P-01 lowball.

It's over 100 years old, you have nothing to lose by holding onto it. Maybe start a jar with whatever wheat cents you happen to find or even an album/folder. If you don't care to keep it, maybe you know someone who collects them.

If you can sell it for more than one cent, it is worth keeping. Nevertheless, with such a coin, I would still have some fun, by putting it back into circulation, for another collector, who would have some fun feeling fortunate enough to find it. Two winners !

If I found something like that, I'd keep it. Sometimes the value of a coin is more than monetary.
