I think this may be the large S but would like to be sure before sending it in to PCGS. What would be the variety #?

Yes, you are correct. It is WB-101, WB-1.

Definitely and obviously the large S. What sort of grade are you hoping to get here?

It would be within the margin of error to get an AU-50 on the high end.

After reading westcoin's info. I wonder how much weight before detailing a 'cleaned' coin a TPG would place on the historical aspects that a particular hoard was subjected to by the prevailing environment at that time in history etc?

It's hard to find any pricing info. on the WB-101 to use before deciding to take the plunge to send it or not to the TPG.

Large S, harshly cleaned, probably from the hoard.
