I have around 3 or 4 of this variety, highest grade is in a MS63BN holder from PCGS
lowest is probably a Fine. Not a real common variety, but not as hard as one might think to find either. I've seen at least 3 of these the past year for sale on eBay, some mentioned the retained cud others didn't. I'm thinking it will bring a bit of a premium, maybe 10% or 20%. If the coin is MS (I can't tell from these photos), then it can't hurt to grade it, but PCGS
won't label anything about the retained cud that I'm aware of. ANACS might list it as a retained cud on the label if you pay them extra for the error description.
Oih82w8 has one a touch nicer than mine too. We found out in this thread a few years ago. I think his is MS63RB or 64RB also PCGS
unfortunately it looks like all the photos from that thread were on photobucket, so now gone.
Here is one of the raw coins I have (rev only sorry):
and the PCGS
As you can see PCGS
didn't mention anything on the label so to me it's not worth sending it in and paying a bunch to get the coin back without the label, unless the coin is grading MS63 or better - IMO.
