Hello,

I have a small, possibly (probably) provincial coin that I am having trouble identifying. I was sure that I would be able to identify it via the portrait. I have a couple of guesses, but they are only guesses. If anyone can give me an identification, I would truly appreciate it.

This coin measures approximately 18 mm at its longest side.

Thank You,
Doug

Thank you for the help! I appreciate it so much. Most of the examples that I found that were similar were from Marcianopolis...and Gordian was my first guess. Once again, thank you for your time and assistance. I appreciate it.

Okay, this coin has been identified as:

Diadumenian 18 of Marcianopolis, Moesia Inferior. AD 218 - Hristova/Jekov (2014) No. 6.25.47.2; AMNG I/1, 806, pl. XX, 27.

I really appreciate all of the help.
Doug
