Bought this off a dealer sight unseen as "1925 Lam heavy reverse" for $2. I should think I did pretty well as I really like it.

Awesome pick! The obverse looks EDS as well, and the coin is in pretty nice shape.

Nice lam there.

What is up with the rims on both sides. They look flat and wide.

I noticed that too, but wrote it off as the vagaries of coin variation. At first I thought it had been encapsulated but could find no real evidence of that so just don't know.

Really sharp details on this one. Beard under the lower lip looks different than images at PCGS.

I think everything on the reverse is lamination. Some of the lines look raised. This coin is an extreme lamination.
