I think it would be great for the forum and all the new members getting into coin collecting errors to have a real life example of DDO's DDR's ( maybe by the decade) of circulated cents to give those new to the scene an idea of what it would look like, myself included.

CoinTheTerm, John posted great source to learn what doubled dies look like. The ones listed on the site are circulated. When you come across a doubled die, you'll know, promise. For now, keep checking EVERY single coin to get familiar with different designs.

Best of luck

CoinTheTerm , please don't think the lack of offers for examples is an indicator of those here being unwilling to give. Even having one example from each decade may lead your search ability astray at first. Many types of doubling can happen in the same year from the same mint and the way to recognize them from the norm is different for each one.
The best advice that I can think of to give is to pre sort your coins by year. After getting a good sampling , go through all the online sources for that particular year to study the known varieties.
Doing this before you search will let you narrow your search to a manageable task to get you started

Are you looking for Doubled dies you can find in circulation or something like wheat pennies, Two Cent or silver quarter doubled dies?

If you think the TDO is neat, keep an eye out for the Quadrupled die obverse on the same date! It's listed as WDDO-005 FS-105:

Not quite fitting the "modern variety forum", but one of my favorite DDO coins of all time, the 1867 DDO look at the bottom of the arrows (left side is easiest on this example). This is about the only way to find these once the motto is worn away. Higher grades the entire motto is clearly doubled with a large shift east to west.

I think this makes 21 1867 DDO's I've now cherry picked, got another one this week off ebay and am waiting for it to show up, it is even more worn down than this example. Cost paid for this one and the new one on the way, under $20 for both including shipping.

How to tell the DDO on a very worn 1867:

And a couple more worn examples I picked up in the past year or so, all from ebay none were notated as such, all went cheap, really cheap, like under $8.00 cheap.

Now if only I could find 1955 or 1972 DDO Lincoln cents as easy as these!

Tripled die:

Often when finding a tripled die or a quad die, the doubling is often closer together. Only seen on certain areas of the coins devices.
