$48. Looks like a sharp repunched date. Attribution appreciated if you recognize it. Thoughts? Thanks!

F-15.

Either S-9 or S-10 according to Indian cents. I don't have the book and the images aren't online yet, so hopefully someone who does will chime in.

F12. (LL). I have Snow's attribution guide and it is not S9, very light repunching to the North, and S10 which is a DDR. No listings for a RPD to the East. Hard to tell from your close up pics if it's a RPD or MD.

Unlisted in Rick Snow's attribution guide Vol. 1, I sent him a message asking him to give a look, he is on vacation in Hawaii right now, so it may take a little bit to get an answer. Very cool looking coin, and I think that is also a die crack in the U of United as well.

I'm at F-12 on grade a bit too much digs in the fields to make a 15 grade I think, a really bad one at the tip of the eagle's raised wing and in front of his beak. The reverse also has a bunch of hits that hold it back as well.

Thanks for pointing it out. Had to wait to get home to check. There is indeed a die crack by the U in United.

Not a known variety, appears to be Longacre doubling.

I've never heard of Longacre's doubling on the date. The date punch was done after the hubbing onto the individual dies as far as I know. THe Longacre's doubling is supposedly caused through the lapping of the hub. This could be Machine Doubling but it looks more like a RPD than MD to me, better photos may help in identifying it better.
