Looks like doubling at the jaw

Hi, Jerrold.

It looks like the jaw took a hit which flattened a portion of the die in that particular area of your coin. A nice coin though...

I might be wrong.... Wait for the experts comments...

It is Machine Doubling. It it were a contact mark, it would be more straight. But note it follows the contour shape of the die. So it is the dreaded Machine Doubling. The devices shape on the die distorts the previously struck devices. PSD.
