I'm new to this and am trying to identify if there is an error or not.
Maybe just a weak strike.
Detail is still strong in the rest of the field of this circulated coin.
Under microscope I can't see the last one in the date.
When tilted under bright light a faint image of the missing 1 appears.
Any help greatly appreciated.

@SD, the last digit of the date is not visible in your pics. It might be that this coin was struck from a grease-filled die.

Just a minor grease filled die. Doesn't add any value.

Thanks for the feedback! I will try and learn how to crop a pic first on my IPad.
Appreciate the pic cropping tip.
So grease filled die is common, no true error, no added value.
Got it!
Thanks, and have a great day!#128513;&👍
