1934 Wheat Penny Strike Error? - Coin Community Forum

The tails side isn't damaged so I don't think it was viced. The marks on the face seem to make an x. What do you all think, good find or defaced currency? Report this Post to the Staff

Second, despit the lack of damage to the reverse, I think that the linear depressions on the obverse are just damage. Perhaps the coin was placed on a soft material like leather when those indents were made.
