Eventually I wrote a catalogue about them as I had learned so much about them and knew I had one of the best collections of them in the world.

Notgeldman,
I'd like to know more. What's the title of your catalogue and where can it be obtained, please ?

@Pertinax - If you go to my notgeld dot com homepage, you can purchase any of my 3 notgeld books from there, by clicking just underneath the picture of the book you are interested in. It is easier than purchasing from my eBay listings. Not sure if I can actually put a link to my notgeld website here, so I won't until @jbuck tells me I can....or someone else puts it on this post.

A nice dark pink silk piece with uncommon border, but not scarce. I tend to state things pretty basically here, like common, uncommon, scarce, very scarce or rare, which is hopefully enough to get some idea of the different pieces I am showing you all in this post. With these types, its about me showing you all the different pieces that could be available to collect. I did it for over 46 years and still try and find pieces that I haven't had before. It doesn't happen that often, but I did get one a couple of weeks ago. Just shows you, if you know what to look for, you can still pick up a bargain out there! I never did it for the money though - I was just passionate about them and loved to collect them!

6 different coloured borders, on these yellow 1000m material (silk and linen) pieces:

All the notes feature the 'animal concert hall'.

A nice looking note from the former East German city of Poessneck.

It's another example of a hyper-inflationary notgeld which is made of leather.
