This should be quite interesting for followers of this topic, to see the different types of businesses, companies, shops or authorities that actually issued notgeld from 1914 - 1923. Here goes with my first example: 1 - paper mill

It's quite a good theme for me, as it does make me study my pieces more and understand them better

These are usually incorrectly described pieces from Norderney. These notes are NOT 'judaika'. A 'star-of David' is NOT always a 'star-of-David' or what it appears! This ancient symbol was used in Germany along time ago by innkeepers! 10 - Hotels

There are several variants of this 'type' of embroidered reverse' piece available to collect. I have chosen a very special piece to show everyone. This extremely rare stoffgeld piece was issued by the Bielefeld 'Stadtsparkasse': 11 - Town Savings Banks
