I wanted to get everyone's opinions on this one. I need a Peace dollar for my type set, but am wary spending big dollars at the price range this one is it. What does CCF grade it?

Strong strike.
I'll say 65 or 66.

Good reason for your caution. The 1925 is common at 65 and below, but escalates quite a bit from 65 to 66 and dramatically from 66 to 67.

Assuming that the disturbances near the "2" of the date and the N-S scratches near the end of the flowing hair are on the slab, rather than the coin, I see how this one could well nail a TPG MS-66 or even 67 on a really good day.

I'm at MS-66 here if the noted disturbances are on the slab, MS-65 if they are on the coin.

I'm at ms66, very few flaws I can see, obverse possible contact on far right tiara point, and above flowing hair in the field, if that isn't raised, Reverse a few small ticks on uri of pluribus and second T of states. Really nice coin Grape.

Nice coin, but the obverse spot would bother me.

it has a shot at MS66 its difficult to determine if the luster is broken across the cheek. the minor ticks and flaws noted would not keep it from 66. my only concern would be the weakness in strike. some of the ones I researched were a little weak but sharper than this one and didn't have as many disturbances on the obverse. my best guess is MS65+. I guess that doesn't help much

Hey Greasy! Much better! Its healed and I can eat normally, but I still can't open it all the way, maybe 85%. They said it may be permanent but.... I do have our first Court meeting this week on Wednesday. It's a pre-trial hearing so we'll see what happens.

Yep! I just forgot! The grade was MS66 with CAC. One of the nicest 66 quality coins I've seen of this type. I don't love the color or carbon spot or I'd buy it now.
