Something about the clip doesn't look right. Maybe it is just the lighting. Can you post an image of the edge at the clip ?

Well because it wasn't in the collar, the rim wanders where it want to. The area what wasn't affected, it what it should look like. It is a legit error. You are thinking of just a clip. But this is a clip on a broad strike coin. (two errors)
