1983 Penny DDO Or Not? Experts Tell Me Please

Hello I was wondering if there is doubling in the mintmark and the date, I know you guys will have a idea, and if it isn't what it is, thank you my friends

Not a doubled die...a hard strike (during the minting process) has caused the copper plating around the mint mark to split, allowing the zinc core to be visible. Around the date could be plate shifting or die deteriorating doubling.

Edited: If you would have included a photo of the whole coin, we could tell for sure if it is shifting or DDD. That's way we ask to include whole photos

Definitely looks like MD. It is similar to the 1983-D DDO-002 2-O-VI listed on VarietyVista. There are a plethora of other markers that your coin would exhibit if it were one, but judging from the date and mint mark in your photographs it is Mechanical Doubling not a doubled die. The "9" and the 3" both appear too delicate and defined for this to be a DDO. I know just enough to be dangerous, though, so happy if anyone disagrees!
