It may take me a while before spend the SBA
dollars, since I don't live in the country, but when I do, I will record the experience on the site. I know I am now straying away from the original thread, but I am wondering why a dollar coin never took off in the US. We, in Canada, got rid of our one dollar and two dollar bills a long time ago in favour of coins. There wasn't a whole lot of fuss about it, apart from a few grumbles. We also got rid of the penny of the penny a few years ago. I don't think anyone complained about that. Can anyone explain why the US has resisted all this?
Again, maybe this conversation doesn't belong here, but I am curious.
