Not entirely sure what is going on here, but at 2.42g I figure the planchet was faulty and missing a lot of material for one reason or another. Big tapered planchet?

Wow! What a nice coin. My thought is tapered planchet as well. What is going on with the reverse rim in the tapered area?

First one of these I have ever seen. You'd think it would weigh more, not less from looking at it. Great coin, a definite keeper!
