I would appreciate any info on this coin, I'm fairly certain it's 1794 w/1793 head ... the leaf is pointing down I believe but I could be completely wrong... if any of you can narrown down the variety that would be very helpful thank you . The reverse is also off center at that angle. Found metal detecting last week near Bristol Pa.

to the CCF.

Not my area of expertise - some CCF experts will be along shortly.

The obvious corrosion leads me to think ground find - if authentic.

S-20 is a possibility.
Leaf down is S-20a. R-8 (per Breen)
Leaf up is S-20. R-4

Here is a picture of the two different edges found on 1794 cents with heads of 1793.
The OP coin appears to have an edge of 1794.

Haven't determined the variety, but it isn't a head of 93, and the leaf is pointing up not down.

Conder101 ... it's been verified by a dealer I took it to this morning now... it's def a 1794 w/ 93 head Germanicvs was right on target ...there are 2 leaf varieties the 93 head the R8 is pointing up the R4 is pointing down... so it's Sheldon S-20b R4
