If I could call upon the expertise at this forum, I would ask for any and all advice.I am looking to find a source of information on die varieties for all US coins, or most for that matter.I have the PEACE AND Morgan silver dollar covered. Is there any published information for this subject anyone could recommend to me .I would appreciate any and all help in this matter, BE WELL, MORGANS DAD... For Middle Date Large Cents - The Cent Book 1816 - 1839 by John Wright. For Late Date Large Cents - U.S. Cents 1840 - 1857 by Bob Grellman. For Half Cents - Half Cent Die States 1793 - 1857 bu Ron Manley. For Bust Half Dollars - Early Half Dollar Die Varieties 1794 - 1836 by Al Overton (I recommend the Third Edition over the Fourth).

One of the things I've tried to do for coin roll hunters is to find web sites that have as much info as possible on varieties for the modern circulating coinage. If you visit coinrollhunt.com and check each of the denomination pages I've placed links to those variety sites there. (generally about half way down the page.) Don't know if that's exactly what you're looking for, but it might help.

Every series has it's own reference. Best all-around reference: Breen's Encyclopedia.

For Lincoln Cents the Lincoln Cent Resource web site is pretty good but I still like coppercoins.com better since the entire forum and members are available to answer questions on those coins. With two books on the subject out, Chuck is a pretty good expert and will answer any questions. At coin shows I've noticed a dealer with a few tables of nothing but books on coins. Just about anything possible I guess there is now a book on it.
