I though this was PMD when I found it but it appears to be a displaced Lamination or a defective blank. Opinion from the pros appreciated.

Looks like a pretty decent lamination error.

Does the edge look like this?

It may be a cracked planchet or damage? Is there a lower edge that is there on the left?

Coop, There is an edge and no marks of any type on damage along the rim of the coin or along the edge of the break.

Maybe a one side shot like the one I posted with from edit of your images. That would be more helpful.

Do you mean a shot of the full rim showing the full break along the rim?
