first three pictures are from the 88 penny the last two are from an 89 penny angles arent the same my microscope app is picky when trying to be in focus thank you :) the three new pics first two are 1988 pennies the last one is the 1989 penny sorry about the poor quality ill do better next time

I was unaware there are different reverses for these two years. Please be more specific about these differences and show your images right-side up - this is important.

My apologies both reverses are of the 88 I had them both in the same file both reverses are of the same reverse I'll have different pictures in a bit sorry about that.

The 1988 Penny reverse is almost more like a C than a G the 89 reverse has serifs that go down and across the middle making a much more distinct G
