On the reverse of this 1960 D LMC there are 2 places that I am not sure what caused the damage. The coin is worth 0.0275 so not looking for a value estimate, just info.

Die chips pretty common no premium

Die chips.
Generally, this can show up on coins struck from older dies (as they are used). Small pieces of the die fall off/out and can get larger.

Common die chips. The 1960 D small date cents were notorious for die chipping.
