1960 D Small Date Lincoln Cent - What Is This?

On the reverse of this 1960 D LMC there are 2 places that I am not sure what caused the damage. The coin is worth 0.0275¢ so not looking for a value estimate, just info.

Die chips.
Generally, this can show up on coins struck from older dies (as they are used). Small pieces of the die fall off/out and can get larger.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Common die chips. The 1960 D small date cents were notorious for die chipping.
