-- "The page will list the item and the suggested offer range. ... Heritage
will accept the highest offer in this price range received in the three business days (or less) after the first offer is received. Ties always go to the first offer. Heritage
will not counteroffer or play you off against another buyer -- we will either pass or play within three business days. Offers below the recommended range will automatically be rejected."
So they rejected your offer because it was outside the range. That's not a counter-offer, that's telling you what the range is. I don't see the problem here. I also don't see the range on the item page like they say, but do you really expect them to accept *any* offer as long as they don't get any others in the three-day period?
