I have recently upgraded my Capped Bust Half Dollar in my 7070 Type set and wanted to see what the CCF members had to say about her. Thank you for your interest and comments!

Love it, what a beauty.. That reverse die crack is huge. I can't believe that die had much life let on it..

Solid looking coin! An MS63, minimum.

The color of course grabbed my attention, but the grade received from PCGS...I won't quit my other two jobs trying to make a living grading coins. ...and here is the Reeded Edge Capped Bust Half that it replaced; Have a great and safe weekend everybody!

The marks - which are not really congruent with Mint handling - are what defined the grade, instead of the lack of apparent wear and nicely even toning which belies any surface rub at all. I must reluctantly agree with the grade. It had to have gone somewhere, and been handled somehow. That's "AU58" in a nutshell.
Late die state of GR-17.
