Haven't had a big find in a week. But just found this.

So looks like a DDR to me based on the dots. I think that maybe I have some die markers for DDR-004. Just showing to make sure its some form of DDR, otherwise not worried on the variety too much.

Tough call on this one. The best thing to do is to look at the closed devices to see if you can find one that looks exactly the same. Also the bottoms of the 'U's. You just have to look at everything:

Coppercoins has one that I found, but just got to that point so far. But you need to examine even die scratches to see if they match. Don't look for these in the open fields, but up close to the devices or inside of devices. These last longer there. Out in the open fields they flatten quickly. Inside a device could last til retirement.

I like those Class VI DDRs.

It looks promising. Along with the first EPU dot being elongated and the EPU horizontals being a bit meatier than the verticals, it also looks like the right wheat stem is a bit thicker than the left stem.

The older LWC Philly DDRs are tough to nail down unless you find some type of marker [which has usually been worn away over time].

Good luck with it.

An important point to remember is this: Not every coin is an error coin.

Don't be sarcastic please. Merclover is 100% right. I have my own quote, "the more you know, the less you find."

Doubled dies are a variety, however, Merclover was just being vague, which is perfectly fine. No need to correct someone when they know exactly what they are talking about from the start.
