No question that IF it is fake, it is a pretty good one. I can't honestly tell if it's real or not. But if it is real then I would say it's about EF-45

First glance tells me it's real. If it is fake then the counterfeiters have upped their game to a new level.

This is one for the grading services to decide.

I'd ask for more pictures, and be sure you have full return privileges.

It's not for my consideration. I'm just showing it here to get some responses in a different forum. But that's the consensus in the other forum is split as to whether it's genuine or not...get more pics...return privileges if TPG calls it fake. They're on the fence in the other forum on this piece too.....But the one thing they agree upon is get full return privileges.

Is there fruit on the olive branch in the eagles talon? I see them on the PCGS Coinfacts example but can't see them in the provided photo.

Unslabbed? Looks too good to be true - and probably is.

Believe it or not this appears to be either an OLD fake, or if real then the coin the fakes were modeled from. I haven't seen one of these for a LONG time. Back in the early 70's the 1799 dollar was a commonly faked coin. They were good fakes but the one obvious flaw in them was found on the middle of the upright of the R in LIBERTY where the loop of the R joins the upright. There is a nice rectangular hole in the upright at that point. It is the same size and shape as that dark spot on the image in the OP.

Looks like Conder May have found the answer.

If it looks too good to be true it probably is fake!

My first impression is that the date and surfaces look a little off. For a coin of this value, I wouldn't be surprised that more sophisticated counterfeits may exist. Definitely worth it to test the metal content on this. If it's silver, that would be a big step in the right direction.
