Looks like a slider to me that's probably an AU55 or so. A couple spots on the obverse hint at a possible cleaning but it's an attractive semi-key Peace dollar. Well struck with nice luster remaining and strong eye appeal.

I'm at AU55 as well. Nice lightly circulated example!

technically i'd put it in the AU55 bucket but I'm not a fan of the eye appeal as the surfaces/fields seem to have too much chatter, marks & nicks. in my mind there is so much on both sides based on these photos that it appears that the coin was cleaned or banged around in a bag for quite a while.

I'm at AU-55. At first, I just thought it was a weakly struck example, but it doesn't seem fully lustrous from the photos.

OK, upping my grade to AU-55, I'm convinced.

Auctioneers photos... very high def. I had been emailing them after the auction about shipping issues on some non coin items. They were bragging about a new scanner. Maybe scanners aren't the best for coins. Or maybe they need to adjust some settings. They are getting an email tomorrow.

I've had good customer service in the past. We'll see how it goes.
