The mint mark is just barely discernible. This example couldn't have taken much more wear and remained fully identifiable.

Not a coin to grade but does have value
(mostly silver scrap)
Term for this coin is "Cull"
Some folks will collect for historical reference but when a coin like this surfaces
(since it's not considered a rare date 12 million minted) it most likely will end up being bought for silver value 90%...Silver is at $23.81 right at this moment (100%)
This coin would melt scrap at $18.42
Silver Indexing will probably go upwards as there is somewhat a shortage but some of the silver mines have been re-opened and going at about 1/2 capacity. Covid19 has a lot to do with full capacity mining.
Might be wise to just hang on to the coin and see what
silver does in the future unless you just like it for the historical significance.
