My apologies in advance for pic quality, first timer. I'd appreciate any guidance on grading this coin. inherited quite a few and this seems to be a keeper. Thank you in advance.

to CCF. Take coin out of 2x2 and take full coin pic of the obverse and a full coin pic of the reverse.

I'd be like VF 35 on this coin.

Nice inheritance! All I ever inherited was a few common Wheat cents and abt 30 dateless Buffalo nickels about 40 years ago!

Thank you both very much! There's also a few dozen Morgans, 20+ Peace dollars, a Trade dollar, like 200 Franklin halfs, 90 Buffalo nickels and 3 very old, very damaged bills. The difficulty is dividing this amongst 4 of us "kids". When I "inventoried" everything, this one seemed to be of most value but a lot of other beauties.

I would say VF35-XF40.
What ever you do with these coins...DO NOT CLEAN them...show us what you have and these guys will steer you in the right direction.

Thanks Smat. So you want to see more of them? I didn't want to drop in as a newbie and then bombard you with a bunch of these...seemed rude. Certainly I'd welcome more feedback, are there some in particular I should post? Are the bills of interest? 1899 $1 / 1859 GA NW Ringgold $10 note / 1923 Lincoln "porthole" $5. Presumably my pics will continue to improve

i have this one between VF30 and VF35. from a price standpoint there is very little difference in value from VF to AU on these.

I would give this one a grade of VF-30-35.

Nice coin; I prefer lightly circulated examples as such a coin's authenticity is much more certain.
