Good afternoon everyone! I'm not sure if this coin was tampered with or if this is some sort of error. You can see the 3 separate layers and it seems that the glossy finish is missing. When you run your finger over the edge, it catches.

Looks like environmental damage, the coin spent some time in acidic soil , which ate away part of the copper core..

Acid dipped coin. Just a face value coin now. Spender. See how pink the copper edge is. It was cleaned with a mild acid. (Soda or vinegar)
