Hello From Northern Maine. New Member Intro.

I must apologize for having to admit that I'm really just a "coin jar" filler. I don't collect, but rather discover and pick while being fortunate enough to attract unique items. If a coin "catches" my attention, it goes into a jar, friends sift through the jar and then sass me for such monetary brutality.

I found this forum while researching Wheat Pennies, my father began a collection of them for me over 30 years ago with a nice display board. We would search the weekly change accumulation and try to find major error coins or wheat pennies. It's about 2/3 complete and now my daughter and I have continued the quest. I doubt I'll ever completely fill the display, but it has created interest for my 10 year old in other areas of coin collecting. The sellers we have had dealt with have all been very welcoming, supportive, and just plain friendly. I figured the rest of the community must be just as great.
