I posted some different pictures of this coin some time back and I was asking about what was going through the ear lobe of Lincoln.I recently took another picture because I had deleted the old ones. Isn't this a doubled ear lobe?

Not seeing a double ear, but maybe a die crack? Closer photos might help determine.

This is about the best I can do. I guess I have to go back to the drawing board about what I'm seeing.

Looks like a linear plating bubble. Not a die crack. It should press down with a toothpick.
