As of November 23, 2020 the non profit Error and Variety organization CONECA, reorganized how it administers its Master Numbering List of error and variety coins and is creating a new management system for cataloging and submitting coins for consideration.
New CONECA numbers will be issued through a CONECA Master List site currently being developed. The CONECA Master List and CONECA numbers will no longer be managed, attributed or issued through varietyvista.com. CONECA members and non-members can submit coins for Attributions and Examinations through our CONECA Forum home page in new sections created specifically to look at new submissions.
The Attribution fee is being rolled back to $4 per coin for CONECA Members and $6 per coin for non Members plus shipping costs. We encourage you to join CONECA and the exciting world of varieties and errors before your first submission and save while supporting us. The reduced Members fee quickly pays for your CONECA membership.
Attributors and Examiners that have been listed in prior issues of Errorscope or the CONECA website should not be sent coins or contacted directly. When a submitted coin has been looked at and confirmed through the appropriate Forum thread a CONECA Examiner or Attributor will be assigned and mailing instructions provided.
We look forward to helping you identify your varieties and errors as we take this exciting new step.
