Well, I finally got this coin certified from PCGS. At XF40 this becomes the lowest grade of this variety at PCGS!  I found this coin last year after a friend told me about error/variety hunting. I use to collect coins when I was younger but never searched for varieties back then. So I grab my pocket change jar and a loupe and within two or three handfuls this coin appears! I didn't even know what a variety was or that 1976 D WQ had a variety or the difference between MD and a Doubled Die! I didn't even know what the CCF was! Glad I could help! Certainly a very nice coin, and I'm glad everything went smoothly. The turnaround time was less than stellar, but that's unfortunately just how it is right now. Regardless, it's a scarce variety and while having a top pop coin is cool, in a sense so is having the lowball.

Yes GrapeCollects, having the lowest grade is fun to think about. Knowing this coin lived 40+ years in the wild avoiding coin roll crimpers and surviving Pac-Man, Dragons Lair, & Mortal Kombat machines without sustaining "damage" is amazing I think. Thanks again for your help.

Fantastic coin in any grade, and an XF-40 is still pretty respectable even if it's the bottom pop.

Got it in hand today and I am happy with the result. Took around a month total from send to receive which, for Hawaii time, Isn't too bad. Glad to see it got back to you safe and sound. A month is actually pretty good right now. During non covid times 3 weeks was pretty solid so a month during it is very good!
