Should I Buy Bulk Coins >1500 From Ebay?

Is it worth to buy bulk coins (where there might be lots of duplicates), or I should buy smaller assorted lots (like 100 pcs). Thank you, I hope I posted in the right forum. Wade Pillar of the Community Canada 2784 Posts	Posted 01/04/2021 11:47 am I wouldn't buy anything where the seller uses "stock" photos unless it is cheap ($5-$7 a pound), and you *will* get a lot of duplicates. I've done pretty well with smaller lots (100-200) coins where you could see the actual pile of what was being sold ($10 per lb or so, more if there is older pre WWII stuff in the mix). Overall I think you're better off buying what you want 1 or 10 at a time as it only takes a handful of dupes to bring your cost per coin to up around $1 each.
