My husband bought this coin for our grandson, first he saw that the flag behind the head was missing and that it didnt meet the head, second he noticed the eye then the stars were weird the finger are incomplete, under the flag is a dot. The lines leading to the foot go past the fabric, the coller is different, now the reverse, die crack going down the shield! Did he find something?

What is the slab? Is it a certified coin or just in a slab style holder? It looks like it could be a counterfeit coin as I don't see any detail in the feathers and lots of other problems.

Very strange. The detail seems really off! What does the label on the slab say? Would you share the certification number?

The slab uses white plastic inside of the outer clear plastic. The PCGS slabs that I've seen are all clear plastic. The just looks wrong on all levels.
