Ebay Seller Mark-Up Of Over 140% Seems Innapropriate / Unethical

IMO the markup was simply the seller doing the work to buy inventory, photograph, and market it. They should get paid. They took a financial risk on the inventory, then used their time, equipment, and skills to photograph and re-market the piece. I'd want a lot more than 20-30% for putting all of into something as well. - I work in an industry where we don't touch a project if we can't get over 10X our cost on the goods. That other 90% goes to the work like he did, commissions, salaries, profit, etc.

Yep, that's why I was reluctant to pull the trigger the first time. The photos were fuzzy, and hard to tell how much luster if any. Even with these new photos I couldn't tell if there was any luster or just bad photos. I don't know about others, but I find many sellers have the hardest time capturing luster in photos they post on eBay. I'll just return it if in fact it's lackluster (and/or looks cleaned) in hand.

Agree with lacking luster and cleaned, for the money it would need to be better.
