LOL, pretty far gone. But it doesn't hurt to speculate. The side with the circles could be a shield. Tempting to guess a Macedonian shield. Could the other side, rotated, be an elephant right? If so, that might point to a Seleucid shield/elephant combo like Antiochos I Soter.  On the other hand, assuming there may be a legend around the circle - and given that the other side is so corroded it could be anything, perhaps a more likely candidate might be from the Macedonian Koinon. Yeah, that's a stretch. Getting back to the Macedonian Koinon, here's a comparison - I'm not at all confident in the match. Just speculation here. But it is the right size at 23mm...Claudius.  With more of the same issue:

Thanks Bob. I think I'll label it as a Koinon piece.
It was found in the Balkans, dug with Roman coins.
Funny, when I first saw the image I was reminded of my Claudius coins.
What's the date on those Macedonians?
