1999 Georgia State Quarter Die Error

BeautyRiot New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 01/24/2021 08:51 am I found this quarter and its missing alot of lettering. I know that it was caused by possibly grease getting in the die. Does anyone know if this is of value. Report this Post to the Staff

ijn1944 Pillar of the Community United States 2860 Posts	Posted 01/24/2021 09:01 am Given the one photo, it does appear to be a grease-filled die issue. A collector insanely interested greased filled die examples might pay 50 cents to a few bucks for the coin. Too, the overall condition of the coin matters--pristine mint state vs. average circulated.
