This is from an old type set I purchased a while ago. I'm thinking AU58 or AU-details.

1st set of photos taken in with flash.

2nd set taken on a windowsill in natural light.

Thoughts?

AU-58, I agree.
Dark patination makes it a bit difficult to see and photograph.

I say AU55, old cleaning (which will not be noted when grading).

Thanks everyone!

Any ideas on what an NGC grade of au58 will do for resale purposed as compared to a raw coins?

Is it worth the grading fee?

tough call. if it grades straight then yes. if not, its borderline. would I send it in? probably not as the obverse may slide straight but the reverse field scratches imo would details the coin

AU55 and it's a toss up as to details or not on a slab by a TPG, I'm pretty sure it's cleaned as well, but who knows what the TPGs will decided from day to day.
