Any truth to this one ? Ive just watched a film clip of a guy showing us these.Minted in Colorado in 2007.says Union of North America where it should say United States of America.A 20 amero was shown. Ive heard the rumours but now ive actually seen whats purported to be one..whats the scoop guys?
they are made by Daniel Carr. they aren't real money or anything they are just privately minted tokens that daniel carr made the design for. The only affiliation Daniel has with the US Mint is he is the one who designed the NY and Rhode Island State Quarters. here is Daniel carr's website http://www.dc-coin.com/index.asp?Pa...S&Category=8 he is actually a member of this forum and we have this question asked many times and he has even had to go on a show to respond to all the conspiracy theorists that claim these are real and the Government is trying to pull one over on us
there is no purpose for them, they are just private minted tokens that DC drew the design and minted them himself. That is what he does, he draws designs and mints tokens of his designs
No truth at all the to the Ameroooooooo. They are privately minted and personally I think the design is horrible looking (that is just my opinion). If you want any privately minted coins I'd look for the Ron Paul $1000 gold coin. That one is going to be rare
