Hello everyone. I'm still learning about the different coin errors and thought this penny has a Cud. Am I right on this and does this type of error hold any value?

Agree, not a Cud. Looks like a pinch applied under pressure. Interested in seeing what the reverse looks like.

it is definitely some kind of a crushing event. maybe with another coin of similar size in a vice.
