I have had this for a little put away. I brought some stuff out today so here it is. I am wondering if this is someone's boredom took out on this coin using concrete or if it is something from the mint. I am pretty sure it's an 02 or an 03.

A damaged coin is just a spender. Looking for gems in them, is like looking through the blown out tires for a tire with decent tread. The tire is useless, so why look there. Same for damaged coins. The are just face value coins, regardless of what it was before.

Intentional post mint damage ( PMD). Still worth 10 cents if you can convince someone to take it.

Whether a tire or a grinder, pretty sure that's from outside the mint :)
