I'm seeing 1962. The G probably took a circulation hit at some point, making it look like a C.

Dimes didn't have P mint marks until 1980.

You didn't mention if the dime was silver of clad.

Looks like 1968 to me.

Ok wonder what it is that looks like a p above the date in second pic and not sure if it's clad or silver I'll have to research it..

That is a 'D'. There were no 'P' mint that year for dimes. Just S/D plain. No 'P' mintmarks for these until 1980.

Yes I agree with @coop that it is most likely from 1968. @here, can you see any evidence of a clad layer on the edge?
