Hello!

I have been coin rolling and I came across a 1954S Lincoln Wheat cent that has a mirror-like finish. I was like "not that big of a deal if its a circulated proof penny." But, thinking back, I knew that they only minted proof sets in Philadelphia during this time.

It weighs 3.12 grams, not magnetic, and is a pale gold color!
(I apologize for the dark photo, its that shiny!)

What do you think?
Just a circulated business strike or something else?

It appears to be a circulated coin with an artificial shine of unknown origin. There is quite a bit of circulation wear, especially on the obverse.
Rest in Peace

Nothing in your images would suggest proof surfaces.

Or plated? When a coin is polished, it alters the highers devices:

1954-S-Experimental-Proof-Lincoln-Wheat-Penny?

But you coin has nothing special on it. It is a Wheat cent.

Just a well circulated business strike. If it's ultra-shiny, I agree with the above comments it's most likely over polished.
