Hello everyone,
My first and possibly only post here.
I have bought this coin from a flea market near my home town and have been wondering if anyone knows where it's from or even any information related to it's origins? Apologies in advance if this is not the right forum branch/category.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This looks like modern copy of a Ptolemaic silver coin. The bubbly surfaces and mushy devices indicate that it was cast.
I'm guessing it was made specifically for the necklace.

Welcome!
I agree, not a coin, a jewelry piece imitating a coin.

It's actually a replica of a Macedonian coin, of king Perseus (ruled 179-168 BC). His Wikipedia article is brief but shows genuine coins of the same type as this.
