There is a 2000P Sacagawea dollar Wounded Eagle. But, I am just wondering if anyone has encountered that seems to look like this on the reverse. It is not a ding, it's like it's on the dies itself. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

Thank you for your time.

Please be a little more specific on what you see.
If it is that mark between the stars, it looks like a small Die Chip.

Are you sure it is a wounded eagle? http://goccf.com/t/164588

@JimmyD- am just wondering on why the eagle seems to have been slashed, not really sure just going on what I see and how it looks

@John1- no insinuation of that sort at all besides only 2000Ps are known for that variety. Just merely curious on why this one looks like this.

@Oldfordman- I thought so too at first that it might just be a stain too but can't make up out of it

Thank you.

Looks like a coin scratch. The wounded eagle is raised on the coin, thus that is die damage. This is incuse, so It's coin damage like the mark in the field that is called a bag mark. These are both incuse marks on the coin.
