Just wondering if it adds value being a VAM?

A lot of "noise" on the face and neck.
Plus a lesser amount in front of the face and behind the head.
I'm thinking MS-62.

I sold off my Morgan dollar set (complete except for the 1895) years ago.
At that time I don't recall any interest in die states.
There appears to be die cracks on both sides around k10

It looks like 1882-CC VAM-3D, possibly an even later die state.

I'm at MS-63. Nice frosty coin, and a fun VAM.

I'll say AU-58, not a fan.

I am thinking that most opinions will be in a narrow range.

Slight scuffing of the luster on the high points, especially Lib's cheek, I found six very minor dings.
MS-63.

So no one knows if a VAM increases or decreases the coins value?

MS62.

Please get in the habit of stating the denomination in your post title.

I'm not aware of any premium for either VAM-3D or 3C. They seem to be out there in decent quantity. They are fun VAMs, though, with a little bit of everything - doubling, cracks, clashes.

I came in at MS-63 net here, but I was swayed by the reverse being strong enough to pull the coin up to this grade. The more I ponder this one, the more I'm starting to lean a notch downward to 62. I'm persuaded by the weight of others' opinions here.
