Umm.... that is Lincoln on the obverse, not Washington.

Looks like you have found a Lincoln Cent that is already exhibiting some bubbled plating issues on the date and the nearby fields and not long before the bubbles erupt like Mt. St. Helen....

To me it looks like it was damaged in a counting machine. Note the affect '1' is now parallel to the rim. So something mechanical affected that area. There are also bubbles on that area as well from gas/dust under the plating. But the bottom of the '1' looks pushed?
